As the year draws to a close, our Team have been busy onboarding new clients, installing hardware and supporting existing clients with one of the busiest times of the year. This week, we're excited to share our latest collaboration with Smithills Open Farm, where we successfully implemented our EPOS system, ProPoint.

Nestled in the scenic Smithills countryside, Smithills Open Farm offers an immersive educational experience for people of all ages. Originating as a dairy farm over a century ago, it has transformed into both a working farm and a premier attraction. Featuring hands-on activities such as interacting with piglets, ducklings, chicks, rabbits, guinea pigs, and even snakes, the farm provides an enriching learning experience for families. Rain or shine, it promises a delightful day out for both children and adults alike.

A DigiTickets Partner since 2019, we take pride in supporting Smithills Open Farm with their online ticketing needs. From General Admission and Gift Vouchers to Birthday Parties and Special Events, our DigiTickets platform ensures a seamless online ticketing experience. Taking the partnership to the next level, Smithills Open Farm has now adopted our EPOS system, ProPoint, across their site, including 8 new tills and card machines!

In collaboration with the Smithills team, we closely addressed any existing EPOS challenges, ensuring a smooth transition to the upgraded system.

The key features included:

  • Streamlined Inventory Management: Organising inventory, adding stock, creating new products, and adjusting ticket types are now effortlessly managed in one centralised place.

  • User-Friendly Interface: The upgraded EPOS system boasts an intuitive and user-friendly interface, enabling staff to navigate seamlessly through various functions and reducing training time for new team members.

  • Real-time Reporting and Analytics: Comprehensive reporting and analytics provide valuable insights into visitor trends, popular products, and overall performance, enabling data-driven decision-making.

  • An All-in-One Solution: The Smithills team can now track capacity in real time across all sales channels and manage them centrally.
